Indian Grandmaster Nihal Sarin has officially secured qualification for the chess event at the upcoming Esports World Cup 2026 through the Champions Chess Tour (CCT) leaderboard standings. Representing Indian esports organization S8UL, Nihal becomes one of the few Indian players to earn a place at the prestigious tournament, joining fellow Grandmaster Aravindh Chithambaram.
