Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | October 2026: Malaysia is set to host the TechnoXian World Cup 10.0, one of the world’s major international robotics and future technology sports championships, from 30 January to 02 February 2027 at MMU, Cyberjaya.
The hosting was formally marked with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), paving the way for Malaysia to welcome an international gathering of technology innovators, robotics athletes, students, educators, institutions and technology enthusiasts.
The TechnoXian World Cup 10.0, organised under the global robotics sports ecosystem of the World Robotics Sports Organization (WORSO), is expected to bring representations from 60+ countries, competing across 15 categories of Future Technologies Sports.
The MoU signing and hosting announcement were witnessed by distinguished representatives from government, education, international organisations and Malaysia’s technology and innovation ecosystem, including:
- Konstantinos Athanasios Dikaros, General Consulate of Greece in Malaysia
- Ts. Natalya Dato’ Shamsuar, Pengarah Jabatan Pemasaran Strategic, Universiti Multimedia (MMU)
- Encik Md Azman Bin Hashim, Pengasas, Yayasan Pendidikan Malaysia
- Dr. Wan Raisuha binti Wan Ali, Deputy Director, Micro Education Planning Sector, Educational Policy Planning and Research Division (EPRD), Ministry of Education Malaysia
- Camila Lau, WORSO Representative and Chairperson, WORSO South East Asia
Speaking on the occasion, Rajkumar Sharma, President, World Robotics Sports Organization (WORSO), said, “The TechnoXian World Cup 10.0 is more than a robotics competition; it is a global platform where technology, education, innovation and sports come together. We are extremely pleased to bring this international championship to Malaysia. With participation and representation from more than 60 countries, Malaysia will become a global meeting point for young innovators, robotics athletes and future technology leaders. We are grateful to our partners and especially MMU for their vision and support in making this global championship possible.”
He added that the championship would provide young people with an international platform to demonstrate practical technology skills, teamwork, creativity and competitive excellence.

A Global Celebration of Future Technology
The TechnoXian World Cup 10.0 will bring together robotics, engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, drones and other emerging technology disciplines through 15 Future Technologies Sports categories.
The championship is designed to go beyond conventional competitions by creating an ecosystem where technology becomes a competitive sport, encouraging participants to build, innovate, compete and collaborate on a global platform.
With Malaysia serving as the host nation and MMU, Cyberjaya as the venue, the event is expected to attract international teams, students, educators, technology institutions, industry representatives and innovation enthusiasts.
