London-based Logically.ai, an AI-driven firm that fights harmful and misleading online material, has secured $24 million (about Rs 182 crore) in a fundraising round to expand its capabilities and accelerate expansion in its three core markets of the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.
Vitruvian Partners led the latest round, which included Amazon Alexa Fund, as well as current seed investors XTX Ventures and Mercia Asset Management Plc’s Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).
In crucial areas such as election integrity, public health, and national security, Logically said it will focus on developing its technologies in AI, machine learning, and OSINT to stay at the vanguard of the fight against harmful and deceptive internet material and conspiracy-driven threats.
“Given the evolving threat landscape and the increasingly sophisticated technology being used by adversarial actors, this investment will help us continue to stay at the forefront of the fight against misinformation, funding further research and development of end-to-end technology solutions that really break down and combat information threats.,” Lyric Jain, founder & CEO of Logically, said.
Logically, founded in 2017 by Lyric Jain, a graduate of MIT and Cambridge combines advanced AI with human intellect and knowledge to combat harmful and problematic online content on a large scale. The goal of the startup is to improve civic discourse, defend democratic discussion and process, and give reliable information.

In the same year, Logically established official fact-checking relationships with TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram in the United Kingdom.

It conducted a number of high-profile and significant investigations last year, including uncovering anti-vax activities targeting kids and US residents.
The company takes an end-to-end strategy to misinformation and disinformation, with Logically Intelligence able to discover, triage, and respond to information threats at scale across over 120 million domains and 40 social media platforms.
