iOS 15 to automatically remove lens flare from photos: Latest Beta reveals

Apple rolled out the latest beta of its upcoming operating system iOS 15 featuring the removal of unwanted lens flare in images taken in certain lighting conditions.

 

The camera hardware plays a significant role in the quality of photos along with the default processing by the image signal processor. ISP has been further improved in the latest beta version. The latest ISP is reportedly smart enough to remove unwanted artifacts like lens flare. The change was first brought to light on Reddit and further publicized by the popular iPhone camera app Halide on Twitter. This is not something apple confirmed on any platform.

 

Meanwhile, iOS 15 brings a handful of new features and visual changes are a big part of it.
