iPhone users can now detect pegasus spyware

The Pegasus spyware built by Israeli cyber intelligence firm NSO created storms around the globe. Pegasus is potential spyware that can hack computers or mobile devices to fetch data without the consent of the user and provide it to attackers. Recently the spyware targeted the smartphones of some high profile individuals in society and push them to panic attacks.

But the latest reports coming out provides much relief to iPhone users since an application called iMazing promises to detect pegasus. The new feature is available on the iMazing 2.14 version.

Users can connect their iPhone to Mac or Windows system and choose to run the iMazing application. They have to select detect spyware option to understand if their phone has been attacked by pegasus or not.

Amnesty international earlier released a mobile verification tool kit for detecting pegasus, the same detection methodology is used by iMazing. The new feature is rolling out without any subscription charge.
