Orangewood Research and Advancement Private Limited, a start-up that has always endeavored to democratize robotics to build Industry 4.0 are creating waves by bagging the Best Start-up Initiative in Robotics Sector award at India First tech startup conclave & awards 2022, Delhi chapter.

The company has received huge appreciation for its innovative approach in solving the two biggest challenges in the robot manufacturing industry, complexity and cost. The company has the vision to make robots accessible to businesses of all sizes.

The startup says, “We are building collaborative robots, or Cobots, to break down this barrier and make industry available to all makers and manufacturers. Unlike traditional industrial robots that are expensive, difficult to deploy and often purpose-built for specific tasks independent of human input, our cobots are accessible even to the MSME enterprises, and can be deployed quickly to work in tandem with the smaller human teams in such organizations to perform multiple tasks”.

Orange wood research and advancement Pvt ltd currently serves clients in the US and India. The team is responsible to solve the production issues of many leading companies and family businesses of India. The startup is planning to deploy its cobots at around 300 factory floors across the US and India within 3 years.

“Our cobots hold the key to this change and the key to opportunities that traditional manufacturing cannot afford. We are working towards a time in a human enterprise where workers, enabled by cobots and industrial automation, will be able to produce more while consuming fewer resources in the process, involved perhaps in all aspects of production, than slaving away at a station, performing a mundane task endlessly.” Said the startup.
