STEM has the potential to unleash the actual talent in a student.The growth and development of STEM sector in our country will lead to a sustainable ecosystem.On that note, The All India council for robotics and automation ensures that 10 million students will be STEM Experts by 2023 at the 4th edition of India STEM Summit & Awards. The 2022 edition of ISSA witnessed the launch few ambitious initiatives by AICRA with a collective goal to foster the STEM education sector in India.
AICRA has launched India STEM Mission that includes several projects dedicated to enhance the STEM learning experience and eventually prepare kids for meeting all the demands of 21st century workforce. Inaugurated by Prof. K. Raghavan – Former Principal Scientific Advisor to Government of India, the India STEM Summit & Awards 2022 highlighted the significance of latest innovative technologies such as Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, augmented reality, Internet of Things in the STEM education ecosystem. The STEM educational exhibition area of ISSA was filled with innovative products and services by around 50 edtech companies. Similar to the past seasons, AICRA recognized and rewarded outstanding contributions by institutes and corporates by hosting an award ceremony.
Addressing the inaugural session, Prof. K. Raghavan said that the government of India has launched a series of State initiatives and visionary schemes for the STEM education system. The various State government has also launched various initiatives to complement the central government policies. All the stakeholders must come together to take full advantage of these programs. Government has always been at the forefront of creating supportive policies for projects, initiatives, and best practices. Skilled manpower is the most important resource for creating a future of growth and sustainability. Events like ISSA help bring all the stakeholders on one platform and foster healthy competition and cooperation.”
The keynote stage of the event witnessed some relevant topics such as advancing women in STEM , building an education ecosystem by understanding the government vision of technologies to name a few.
