The All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) has announced the establishment of the industry 4.0 Center of Excellence in 500 engineering colleges and universities across India at the 4th season of the India STEM Summit & Awards. The center of excellence will focus on providing an enhanced learning experience of the latest technologies and train students for acquiring necessary STEM skills such as Problem-solving, critical thinking communication, collaboration skills, etc. The Center of Excellence will help our country to develop a smart and sustainable STEM education ecosystem.
Organized by AICRA itself, the India STEM Summit & Awards witnessed the presence of Prof. K. Raghavan – Former Principal Scientific Advisor to Government of India, Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE, Dr. S N Tripathi, Director General, IIPA and many senior government officials. The Summit also had around 50 edtech companies showcasing their innovative products and services.
The summit showcased the most cutting-edge breakthrough technologies in the education STEM ecosystem, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality for STEM learning, and numerous new categories. The summit is to promote STEM education for students to find a place for themselves, as well as to form beneficial partnerships between government, industry, and academia.
