Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 users will be able to use chat in Microsoft Teams. The feature is described as a simple experience that would allow Teams personal account users to easily make a video conference or chat with friends and family.
Microsoft Teams chat will now be pinned to the Taskbar when Windows 11 boots. According to Microsoft, the ‘Team’s experience’ on Windows 11 and Chat has been built for personal Microsoft accounts and will be available to anyone who use such accounts.
Microsoft Teams on Windows 11 will now feature two apps: one for personal use and one for business use. Furthermore, the Teams app labelled as work/school will use a blue tile with a white letter “T” within. If you attempt to connect into Chat using your work or school account, you will be asked to download Teams for work or school. According to Microsoft, customers who had Teams installed before to migrating to Windows 11 may continue to use Teams for business or education as before.
