The All India Council for Robotics and Automation Kicks off the 4th edition of India’s most influential STEM event ” India STEM Summit & Awards” which aims at improving the growth and development STEM sector across the country for preparing youngsters ready for the future jobs and entrepreneurship. The two-day event is organized under the India STEM mission and has supported by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Government of India.
The STEM Summit which has a collective goal to boost sustainable STEM education culture was inaugurated by Prof. K. Raghavan – Former Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. The stage witnessed the presence of Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE, Dr. S N Tripathi, Director General, IIPA, and many senior government officials, more than a thousand Dean, principals, Vice-Chancellor and CXOs of EdTech Companies across India.
The summit emphasized the most cutting-edge innovations in the education STEM ecosystem, including augmented reality for STEM learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The summit plans to encourage STEM education so that more people can find a place for themselves in it and to forge beneficial partnerships among the government sector, industry, and academia. For the benefit of educational institutions and students, almost 50 EdTech businesses have displayed their products and services.
“The government of India has launched a series of State initiatives and visionary schemes for the STEM education system. The various State government has also launched various initiatives to complement the central government policies. All the stakeholders must come together to take full advantage of these programs.” As said by Prof. K. Raghavan Government has always been at the forefront of creating supportive policies for projects, initiatives, and best practices. Skilled manpower is the most important resource for creating a future of growth and sustainability. Events like ISSA help bring all the stakeholders on one platform and foster healthy competition and cooperation”, he added.
The keynote stage of the event highlighted some relevant discussion points on building an education ecosystem by understanding the government vision of technologies and current challenges for Academia in India. Representatives from different states were present in the dias for giving their callable inputs. The event also addressed the Technology Innovations and their integration of policy frameworks and collaborations.
The ISSA 4th Edition will help the qEdtechs to find the right opportunities, collaborate, forge partnerships, make deals and grow their businesses. The event provides everything that STEM needs to find a space in the ever-growing market and redefine the future.
