US military has apparently discovered a technology for drones-like vehicles that can ‘change shape’ mid-air based on the mission’s requirements. Ever seen the ‘Transformers’ movie? If you have, you must be familiar with shape-shifting war robots that save the planet change their form into a vehicle by simply folding themselves. On Friday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) called for an immediate end to “the world’s longest government-enforced internet shutdown”. The internet shutdown in Myanmar’s conflict-ridden northwest, described by rights groups as the world’s longest, has entered second year, Al Jazeera reported. New Delhi: The government is working on a sectoral strategy to reduce import dependence by building an local capacity, creating value chains and quickly attaining self-reliance in at least half-a-dozen areas ranging from footwear and furniture to technical textiles and medical equipment to electronics and defence production, people aware of the development said.
