Microsoft has announced that they will release new updates for the upcoming Windows 11 every month using the same practices the company has honed with Windows 10. Microsoft’s post to the Windows IT Pro blog reveals that it would continue to deliver what it had dubbed “quality updates” at least twice each month. China has revealed its plans to build the world’s first cleaner and safer nuclear reactor using liquid thorium & molten salt. The molten salt nuclear reactor is safer than the traditional one since the molten salt cools and solidifies quickly when exposed to the air, insulating the thorium. The reactor will be kinder to the environment because it would spill less radiation into the surrounding environment in comparison to leaks from traditional reactors. Intel CEO Pat Geisinger announced his company’s revised process roadmap with a refreshing new naming scheme for next-generation nodes. The new road map includes all the products that are expected to enter for production through 2025 and beyond. Researchers at North-eastern released a video on the previous day demonstrating a robot arm smoothly mimicking the actions of a researcher. The group has been trying to eliminate stiff and jerky movements of robotic arms and make them gentle and smooth. The latest study from software nonprofit Mozilla Foundation showed that the Youtube’s algorithms can recommend you videos featuring sexualized content and false claims than personalized interests. More than 37,000 volunteers participated on the study by using a browser extension track down their Youtube usage. The records by the browser extension revealed that the video flagged as problematic is still coming across the platform via YouTube’s recommendation or on their own. A study published in the journal Neurology revealed that a group of researchers conducted an interesting event to find out the mystery behind migraines. As per the notes in the journal, they strapped in 40 people for a simulated roller coaster ride in which half of them were regular migraine patients. The virtual roller coaster rides didn’t cause a migraine to anyone, but scientists found that the migraine-prone participants reported more motion sickness and dizziness compared to the other half.
