ORAI, a conversational AI platform, announced today that it has raised Rs 6.5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Gurugram-based angel investment firm Inflection Point Ventures. IPV has invested Rs 326 crore in 107 transactions so far.
ORAI claims to provide 100% automation powered by artificial intelligence (AI) with all advanced features in a single bot that handles all customer support, customer outreach, customer engagement, marketing, sales support, and post-sales services.
The startup recently launched a WhatsApp commerce feature that uses artificial intelligence to automate business conversations over WhatsApp (AI).
The platform assists its clients in increasing revenue and ROI (return-on-investment) through the use of humanised virtual assistants that enable real-time 3-way communication and automated lead qualification.
Sujit Das Biswas and Swapnil Jain founded ORAI in 2020. According to ORAI, the funds raised will be used to expand in sales and marketing, capture larger markets, product development and enhancements, and R&D.
Currently, the startup serves over 100 customers, including Sayaji Hotel, GMR Delhi, Group Landmark, Kataria Group, Emcure, and others.
“As IPV continues to show trust in our business growth, with the 2nd round led by the Platform, we are all set to expand our operations nationally and internationally. With WhatsApp Commerce becoming the biggest demand in the industry, ORAI has received multiple appreciations from customers for its high tech, high performing platform,” Swapnil Jain said.
ORAI serves as a powerful enterprise solution for a wide range of use cases. For example, the engagement ratio of digital users has increased by at least 200 percent as customers are reached through new-age channels such as WhatsApp, Google Assistant, and Alexa. As a result, the platform has assisted businesses in increasing qualified leads and accelerating business revenue.
Aside from that, it provides 24×7 access to information, more effectively handles client queries, and improves customer acquisition and retention, according to the statement. The platform also integrates with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (SAP).
