New Delhi, April 2025 — The Global Artificial Intelligence Summit & Awards (GAISA) 5.0 hosted a compelling session on “AI Powered Decision Making: Enhancing Strategic Planning in Defence” at Audi 2, Level 2. The session spotlighted how AI is revolutionizing decision-making and strategic operations in India’s defense sector.

Air Marshal RGK Kapoor PVSM AVSM VM (Retd), Former AOC-in-C, HQ Central Air Command, chaired the session, facilitating key discussions on integrating AI into defense strategies. Speakers included Capt Ritesh Wahi (Navy), Col Amit Mehna VSM (Army), Group Capt Ritesh Khandelwal (IAF), Jasbir Singh Solanki of Mahindra Defence Systems Ltd, and Lt Gen Shankar Prasad PVSM, VSM (Retd). Each speaker emphasized the pivotal role AI plays in increasing operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and mission success across armed forces.

The session addressed the need for a strong regulatory framework, seamless integration with existing military technologies, and adequate training for personnel to operate AI systems effectively.
