INDIAN SaaS startups making it big

Several bulge-bracket Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements are expected to close in the coming months as risk investors continue to encourage Indian cross-border enterprises that are developing solutions that attract international clients.

Chargebee, which has offices in both India and the United States, is in talks to raise new financing at a valuation of $3-3.5 billion, more than double its previous valuation. Chargebee, which helps firms with billing, subscription, and revenue management, is expected to be backed by existing investors Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital. San Francisco-based healthcare SaaS Company, Innovaccer is projected to see a similar increase in valuation since it has been in talks to raise funds at $3-4 billion valuations.
