iPhone users can now pause voice message recording on WhatsApp, get new focus mode

WhatsApp has finally rolled out the ability to pause and resume voice messages while recording, following several tests and trials. The feature is currently only available to iOS users. WhatsApp previously introduced the voice message preview feature, which allows users to listen to their voice messages before sending them to contacts. Aside from the voice message feature, iOS 15 includes a new Focus Mode for users. WhatsApp is gradually introducing new features. In the coming weeks, it will be made available to all users.

On iOS, the new pause and resume voice recording feature is available in WhatsApp version 22.7.75. To get the new feature, you must update your app to WhatsApp version 22.7.75 on the App Store. “You can now pause and resume voice message recording.” “Try it out by swiping up to lock a recording and then tapping the “pause” and “resume” buttons,” according to the app’s description on the App Store.

To use the new WhatsApp voice message feature, swipe up and lock your voice recording before tapping the pause and resume buttons. In October, WhatsApp began testing the feature. When the feature was not yet ready for a stable release, Wabetainfo first reported on it.

The new Focus Mode is another feature available to iPhone users on WhatsApp. Users can only receive messages from certain contacts using this feature. If you enable the Focus Mode, you will only receive messages from selected contacts if you have also enabled the Do Not Disturb mode. The feature is part of iOS 15, so if you haven’t updated your iPhone yet, you’ll need to do so in order to get the new feature.
