Karnataka schemes for startups to grow and thrive

Extolling the startup initiatives of Karnataka Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and Minister for Higher & Medical Education, IT & BT, Science & Technology inspired the audience at India first tech startup conclave & awards 2022, Delhi chapter.

The minister stated that Karnataka state is the most ideal place for startup innovations and entrepreneurship.

“The government of Karnataka, consistently come out with many schemes, programs and policies relevant to the time and situation. We have been very well connected with the industry and we work together hand in hand to ensure, our country is well placed, and the entire world can look up to our country, especially the state of Karnataka.” Said the minister

The minister wholeheartedly praised the potential and talent he sees in the city of Bengaluru. The hard work and commitment of people living in the city helped Bengaluru to emerge as one of the technology and innovation hubs for the entire world.

“Further to ensure its sustainability and growth in the state of Karnataka, we have come out with many programs such as Karnataka digital economy imaging to be a bridge between the industry and the government and to ensure there is a targeted investment and targeted growth facilitating between the industry and the government.” The minister said. ” Probably in this direction, we have been very successful and one of its kind”. He added.

The state of Karnataka has already funded 150 Cr to more than 500 startups and is expecting to nurture more startups with their schemes such as Amrit startup, elevate unnati and an exclusive program to foster women entrepreneurship in the state. The minister urged startups to collaborate with the government to improve the status quo in the country.

“In most of the engineering colleges, the state government has established new age incubation networks, the center of excellence and we have adapted national education policy to provide quality education to everyone,” said the minister.

He further appreciated team AICRA for the commitment and good intentions while organizing India first tech startup conclave & awards.
