Prime Minister Narendra Modi will use video conferencing to meet with more than 150 startups from various sectors, including agriculture and health on saturday. This interaction will include startups from a variety of industries, including enterprise systems, space, industry 4.0, security, fintech, and the environment, in addition to agriculture and health, according to the PMO on Friday.
According to a press release, more than 150 startups have been divided into six working groups based on themes such as “growing from roots,” “nudge the DNA,” “from local to global,” “future technology,” “building champions in manufacturing,” and “sustainable development.”
Each group will present to PM Modi on the assigned theme of the interaction. According to the release, the goal of the interaction is to learn how startups can contribute to national needs by driving innovation in the country.
As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is hosting a week-long event titled “Celebrating Innovation Ecosystem” from January 10 to 16.
The event commemorates the sixth anniversary of the ‘Startup India’ initiative.
“Prime Minister has been a firm believer in the potential of Startups to contribute significantly to the growth of the nation. This was reflected in the launch of the flagship initiative Startup India in 2016. The government has worked on providing an enabling atmosphere for boosting the growth and development of Startups, ” it said.

The event is scheduled to be held on the 17th and 18th of February 2022, marking the biggest tech startup event this year. The event brings together the speakers that are the best breed of entrepreneurs, innovators, venture capitalists, government department’s representatives, business model creators, consultants, policy-makers, academicians, support groups, business coaches and business practitioners.

The experts of the industry will address and discuss all the innovations happening around the startup environment that youth empowerment and new-age tech business ideas can grow.
