6TH EDITION OF WORLD ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP – TECHNOXIAN ANNOUNCED BY DR. JITENDRA SINGH (MINISTER OF STATE – SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY)

All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) to organize 6th World’s Largest Robotics Championship Series – TECHNOXIAN at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi from 21st – 24th Aug’22. The inaugural announcement has been made by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State – Science & Technology, Earth Science, Government of India.

Highlights:

  • Announced by Hon’ble Shri Jitendra Singh, Minister of State – Science & Technology
  • 4 Days Championship Series to be held at IG Stadium, New Delhi in August’22
  • 3000+ Robotics Clubs from India and 51+ Countries to Participate
  • INR 5.0 million awards to winner teams in 10 categories.

 

In 6th Edition, 3000 plus Robo Clubs and Teams from India and 51 countries will be participating in 10 Categories of competitions including RoboRace, RoboSoccer, RoboWar, MazeSolver, Drone Challenge, RC Craft Challenge, Water Rocket Challenge, Innovation Challenge, Fastest Line Follower and Hackathon. INR 5.0 million award money has been announced for different categories.

“This year, TechnoXian National Championship will also be organized in SriLanka, Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, Nepal before Grand Finale in India and by next year national series will be expended to 25 countries” stated by Rajkumar Sharma, President AICRA. He further added, “TX clubs will be registered in 5000 plus schools and colleges across India by end of 2022 and member of clubs will be prepared to participate in International championships”

Any school, college or university can register it’s TX RoboClub and the member of RoboClubs will be getting Free Instructor led virtual trainings throughout year to make various robotics project. Member also get opportunity to connect with other clubs to exchange knowledge and technologies. They are also been facilitated with low-cost material supplies by registered vendors to make the projects. AICRA would also help clubs to receive sponsorships by various corporates under CSR schemes
