SpaceX’s Starship test encountered a setback following a successful booster recovery.
In a mixed outcome for SpaceX, the latest test flight of its Starship ended in failure, even though a significant milestone was reached. The Super Heavy booster was successfully captured by mechanical arms at the launch pad in Boca Chica, Texas, marking only the second time the company has accomplished this. However, the Starship spacecraft, which was intended to complete a suborbital flight and deploy dummy satellites, experienced engine issues about 8.5 minutes into the flight.
