Google includes google meet app in Chromebooks by default

The covid 19 outbreak completely changed the way our office works. Now both employees and employers rely upon video conferencing platforms to meet and greet each other. Even though our workplaces are trying to call their employees back to their desks, the trend is unlikely to reverse anytime soon.

The leaders of the industry have observed a massive hike in the number of people utilizing video calling apps. The companies are investing their time and money to provide a better experience in such platforms by adding new features.

Now Google has announced that Google Meet will be preinstalled on all Chromebooks and there will be no need to download it separately. Additionally, Google introduces a new emoji picker, that enables users to pick and select the emoji they want quickly with a keyboard shortcut.

The search giant recently partnered with the popular video conferencing app zoom to bring a new and improved version of the app to the Play Store.
