Google surprised everyone with the release of it’s Nested security camera images on the online store. Google confirmed its plan to launch a new lineup of security cameras back in January. The leaked images just revealed few details of what can be expected.
The new devices feature a combined outdoor/indoor battery-powered Nest Cam, a Nest Cam with floodlight, an indoor wired Nest Cam, and a battery-powered Nest Doorbell.
Google has not yet commended anything officially and, the images were withdrawn by google after a while.
The new addition will fill some big gaps for Google on the security front and enable it to better compete with the likes of Ring and other companies, such as Arlo. The battery-powered options of nest cam and nest hello doorbells are expected to serve as the path for Google to target more homes.
