Twitter introduces a much-needed feature that permits users to limit who can reply to their individual tweets. Users can select from the three options available to limit the number of replies to their tweet: everyone, People they follow, or people they mention.
Starting today, users can take the advantage of this feature. Once the user limits replies for a tweet it will be labeled, and the reply icon will be grayed out. Still, people who can’t reply to individual tweets will be able to view & retweet them.
Twitter says this feature is to help out some people from harassment & abuses. Twitter always wants meaningful conversations in the platform while allowing people to see things on different perspective.
