Xiaomi, the most loved Chinese mobile company bags the second spot in worldwide smart phone shipments as per newly posted Q2 numbers from research firm Canalys. The company growth of xiaomi is very impressive with a remarkable global market share of 17%
Xiaomi is only behind Samsung’s 19% & Apple secured the 3rd spot with 14% & the top 5 of the table includes the names Oppo & Vivo. Huawei experienced a massive drop in sales and ruled out from certain markets.
As per Canalys, the rising popularity of xiaomi is due to the “Better quality with Low price element” while the smart phones from Samsung & apple lies on the higher side.
The research manager of Canalys, Ben Stanton in a release said, “It is still largely skewed toward the mass market, however, and compared with Samsung and Apple, its average selling price is around 40% and 75% cheaper respectively. So, a major priority for Xiaomi this year is to grow sales of its high-end devices, such as the Mi 11 Ultra.”
The Chinese company is looking forward to expanding in new markets and hopes to continue their stunning growth globally.
