The Chip makers MediaTek launched their new chipsets, Helio G96 and Helio G88 SoCs for mobile companies to build smooth display, great OS experiences and premium photography features.
MediaTek says, “These system-on-chips (SoCs) will give device makers the ability to provide powerful smartphone features with cutting-edge display and photography capabilities to bring intelligent mobile experiences to every customer.”
The helioG96 features, a pair of Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and six A55 cores, same as the G95 and it supports 120 Hz displays (LCD and OLED alike) at up to 1080p+ resolution, up from 90 Hz.The camera resolution has been improved and it will now support 108 MP sensors.
Helio G88 includes, Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0 GHz joined by six A55 cores.it is similar to its predecessor in many features.G88 supports 90 Hz displays at up to 1080p+ resolution and the main camera can have a 64 MP sensor, up from 48 MP
