The prime minister of India Sri, Narendra Modi initiated the “AI for All ” program at the first-anniversary event of national education policy. AI for all is a joint initiative in collaboration with CBSE, Ministry of education and Intel India. The purpose of this initiative is to create a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence for every Indian resident and eventually train one million citizens in the first year itself.
AI For All is a four-hour, self-paced, micro-learning program that applies to a student, a stay-at-home parent as it is to a professional in any field or even a senior citizen. It is divided into two sections – AI Awareness (1.5 hours) and AI Appreciation (2.5 hours).
The segment on AI Awareness delivers an introductory course on AI and its abilities and pitfalls. The AI Appreciation segment helps learners get basic knowledge of the common domains of AI and start building personal learning plans.AI for all is available in 11 different vernacular languages to ensure wide accessibility.
