Hyundai will present robotic based mobility vision at CES tech event

Hyundai revealed on Thursday that it would showcase its future mobility vision based on robotics technologies at an upcoming international consumer electronics convention in the United States, underscoring its push to become an advanced mobility service provider.

Hyundai Motor will exhibit its vision of how robotics might revolutionize the role and mode of transportation in the future during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will be held in Las Vegas from January 5-8, under the theme “Expanding Human Reach,” the carmaker said in a statement.

Robotics as a medium that connects the virtual world with reality in the notion of the metaverse and goes beyond the constraints of physical movement, time, and space, according to the business, will be among the important topics on show.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the planned presentation is in accordance with Hyundai’s new goal of becoming a “smart mobility solutions provider” focused on autonomous driving technology, electric vehicles, urban air transportation, and hydrogen fuel cell systems.

Hyundai Motor will also present a new plug-and-play robotic module platform at the CES under the umbrella of “Mobility of Things (MoT),” which refers to a new idea in which mobility is supplied in anything from inanimate things to communal spaces.
