S Chand plans to buy stake in edtech startup iNeuron intelligence

S Chand, a New Delhi-based education content company, has agreed to buy a minority stake in iNeuron Intelligence Private Limited, a Bengaluru-based edtech startup. Mukesh Sharma Family Trust, S Chand Directors, S Chand Key Top Management, and others have also invested in the round.

Mr. Mukesh Sharma, a co-investor, is a serial entrepreneur and educator who founded several companies, including QA InfoTech (now a Qualitest company), one of the leading software testing and quality assurance firms, according to a company release.

Sudhanshu Kumar and Krish Nai founded iNeuron Intelligence in 2019 to provide affordable online courses, live projects, support, and placements for college students and working professionals interested in Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud, and other fields.

With the motto “Education as a Service,” the edtech startup is also expanding its technology and other courses in the K-12 segment.

In a post-covid world, the online education space is exploding. The courses are for emerging technologies, and the learners will be more employable now and in the future as a result.

iNeuron has emerged as a successful startup in scaling the business to the next level with minimal investments and has been profitable for the first two years of operation, thanks to an experienced team and a proven business model. According to the statement, there is currently no cash burn in the business.

Furthermore, iNeuron Intelligence has a low customer acquisition cost (CAC), and investments in new courses/teams/marketing/support/placement would increase enrollments.
