Technoxian 6.0: Complete list of competitions

The technoxian world robotics championship series organized by the All-India Council for Robotics & Automation has announced its 6th edition. The event is planned to conduct on the 21st & 22nd of August 2022 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.

Technoxian championship is a culminating, global event for youngsters and an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for preparing young people for the future.

Let’s now check the complete list of competitions here in this space.

WRC innovation contest

The contest offers a robust platform to showcase your ideas and get recognized. Participants are supposed to compete with their projects, concepts, and innovative ideas. Projects which synchronize with the current needs of the industries and have the potential to disrupt the current course of technology will be Awarded.

WRC Robosoccer

Robo Soccer is one of the most famous challenges of TechnoXian, a world robotics championship series. Teams of 3 wireless bots chase a ball around a big size arena with the aim to kick more goals than the opponent. This game gives the opportunity youngsters to solve robotic challenges and build creative bots while learning science, technology, engineering, and math.

WRC Bots combat

The Challenge is to design and build a robot competent to fight other robots in Battle. The competition is carried out in a tournament format in which the competitors bring their wireless robots ready to battle and are pitted against their competitor’s robots in a one-one match where the aim is to cause maximum damage or to push the opponent’s robot off the arena to score maximum points. The team scoring the maximum points wins the championship.

Robo Race Challenge

The challenge is to build your own robot either wireless within the specified dimensions in order to achieve the maximum speed to beat other robots on the given track and reach the finishing line in minimum time. The robot must run on the given racetrack. The robot must start behind the starting mark and is considered to have crossed the finishing line if any part of the robot crosses it when the robot has completed a full lap of the course. Your robot must be manually/autonomously controlled, and it should be capable of traversing over different terrain and hurdles without going outside the track. Separate points will be awarded for overcoming the hurdles. The bot with the maximum cumulative points will win the race.

WRC Fastest Line Follower

Build your own autonomous robot within the specified dimensions to achieve the maximum speed to beat other robots on the given track and reach the destination in minimum time. The robot must start behind the starting point and is considered to have crossed the finishing line if any part of the robot crosses it in a full lap of the course.

Water Rocket Challenge

Design and build a water rocket within the specified dimensions robust enough to withstand the pressure and when launched from the launch pad achieves the maximum altitude above ground level. The team with maximum air time will be nominated as the winner.

Maze solver Challenge

The challenge is to build a small self-contained autonomous robot (Micromouse) to negotiate a maze in the shortest possible time. The Robot which will start on the START tile and reach the FINISH tile in the shortest time will be nominated as the winner.

RC Craft Challenge

Build your RC Plane which is aerodynamically sound and within the specified dimensions to achieve a successful flight. The RC plane should be able to take off, land, and can-do maneuver. The competition has 3 Rounds i.e. two elimination rounds and the final round. The performance of the RC Plane in all the Rounds/Arenas will be evaluated individually. The team Scoring the maximum points in the final round will be nominated as the winner of the competition.

Drone Challenge

The drone industry is now having exponential growth. Here at TechnoXian Drone Challenge, students learn, explore and evolve along with the applications of today and discoveries of tomorrow. The challenge has been designed to build drones and encourage participants for creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and enjoyment.

The challenge is to build a drone within the specified dimensions that are aerodynamically stable to achieve a successful flight. The competition has 4 rounds, in which the performance of the drone will be evaluated individually. The team Scoring the maximum points in the final round will be nominated as the winner of the competition.
