Samsung is ready to launch a specially designed automotive sensor with a latest technology that can sense low and bright light situations. The ISOCELL Auto 4AC sensor comes up with a resolution of 1280 x 960 resolution but with a special “CornerPixel” arrangement. i micron & 3 micron photo diodes are used for single pixel area. Night videos can be recorded with this unique model which resembles Sony’s HDR automotive sensor.
Samsung says, Since the two photodiodes simultaneously capture two different images, the sensor can deliver up to 120db HDR with minimal motion blur.
The new automotive sensor is also possessing the ability to withstand temperature ranging from -40 to 125 degree Celsius along with the adaption power to human systems and machines.
